Terms of Payment

40% booking payment required upon booking through our online booking system. Reservation is confirmed by our system once booking payment (40%) has been deducted from your credit/debit card through our secured payment gateway system. This booking payment is non-refundable.

Remaining balance payment of 60% is paid upon arrival and is non-refundable.

For last minute bookings, full payment must be paid upon booking.

Failure to fulfill a booking, regardless of circumstances, will result in ‘The Bell's' cancellation and no-show policy being applied.

General Terms & Conditions:

Rates are quoted in Thai Baht and include 10% service charge, 7% government tax and 1% provincial tax per villa per night. These current rates are subject to change without prior notice.

Client will receive a confirmation e-mail containing a voucher for your stay at ‘The Bell'. Please ensure that the contact e-mail address given is correct. If you do not receive an e-mail from our system within 24 hours you are required to contact us immediately at reservation@TheBellphuket.com. It is your responsibility to verify that all reservation details are complete and correct. ‘The Bell' shall not be responsible for any loss or delay (direct, indirect or consequential) or third party claims (including any cancellation fees) caused by any incorrect or incomplete details in your booking.

The card holder must be one of the guests checking-in.

The transaction will appear on your card statement as a charge by ‘Asia Orchid Group Co. Ltd' and will be in Thai Baht or in your local credit card currency, converted from Thai Baht by our bank, at their conversion rate applicable on that day. ‘The Bell' shall not be liable for, or responsible for any foreign exchange rate risk (exchange rate movements and rate fluctuations) in converting the charge amount to your local currency.

Upon arrival, ‘The Bell' will require a security deposit of USD500, payable by a valid credit card or cash, and which is fully refundable upon checkout. This refund is dependent on a full inspection of the villa to check for any property damage or loss.

Upon checkout all charges/expenses for services provided by ‘The Bell' must be paid in full.

Maximum Occupancy for a 2 bedroom villa is 4 persons, for a 3 bedroom villa is 6 persons and for a 4 bedroom villa is 8 persons.

Baby cot is available at 500 baht/day. Baby chair available at no charge.

Extra bed for master bedroom available at 1,000 baht/day.

No pets allowed.

Check-in time; 15:00 hrs /Check-out time; 12:00 noon. For late check-out, please contact our reservation staff to check availability. A late check-out fee of 500 baht per hour will apply.

Prior to arrival, any changes to your reservation, whether extending your stay, early check-out, delayed arrival or cancellation in full or in part, must be made through ‘The Bell' reservations office and are only accepted when you receive an e-mail confirmation - reservation@TheBellPhuket.com. Changes made are subject to our cancellation policy as detailed below.
Cancellation & No Show Policy

Full or partial cancellations made more than 30 days prior to arrival date will incur no cancellation fees or charges. The initial 40% booking payment for the original booking is non-refundable.

Full or partial cancellations made within 30 days prior to the arrival date, including no-shows will be charged the remaining balance payment (60%) of the total accommodation value.

Partial cancellations are deemed as following – reduction of nights, reduction of number of villas, early departures.

Cancellations must be made via a written e-mail, quoting the booking reference number directly to ‘The Bell'. Your cancellation is acknowledged and accepted only when you receive a cancellation confirmation from us. Proof of sending is not regarded as proof of delivery - reservation@TheBellPhuket.com

‘The Bell' reserves the right to charge your card the applicable rates as specified in our cancellation policy.
‘The Bell' General Policies
1. ‘The Bell' Rules:
1.1 Guests shall comply with all rules and procedures in effect at ‘The Bell', including but not limited to health and safety and security procedures and statutory requirements as to registration.
1.2 Children under the age of 14 must be supervised by an adult guest at all times.
2. Damage to properties of ‘The Bell':
Upon check-out, the villa will be inspected. If there is no damage to any property nor additional cleaning of the villa required, the USD500 security deposit will be refunded. If damage or loss is evident and/or additional cleaning is required, the amount (at the discretion of the management) will be subtracted from the security deposit. If the damage is less than USD500, the difference will be refunded. If the amount of damage exceeds USD500, the deposit will be forfeited and the extra cost to cover the expense must be paid by the client. If necessary, the local authorities will be contacted.
3. Damage/Injury To Persons:
Client is fully responsible for any injury to any and all persons arising from the use of ‘The Bell' premises by acts of client, its agents, employees, guests, licensees or invitees, except those caused by the negligence of ‘The Bell', its agents or employees. Client shall indemnify, defend, hold and save ‘The Bell' harmless from all loss, liability, actions, or damages of every nature and kind arising or caused from or on account of ‘The Bell' premises by client, its agents, employees, guests, licensees or invitees, except those caused by the negligence of ‘The Bell', its agents or employees.
4. Valuables, Losses, Liabilities etc.
4.1 ‘The Bell' provides a safe in each villa but will not be responsible for any loss of, or damage to, client properties. Guest must report any loss of, or damage to, their property immediately on discovery to the
‘The Bell' Security or other appropriate staff members, and shall make themselves available to assist with any reports made by the ‘The Bell' to the police.
4.2 Clients shall not enter areas of ‘The Bell' which are indicated as being closed to the public. ‘The Bell' shall not be responsible for death, personal injury or loss or damage to property suffered by a guest in such areas.
4.3 ‘The Bell' shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing any of its obligations under ‘Terms and Conditions' if the failure or delay was due to any cause beyond its reasonable control, including (without limitation) war or threat of war, civil or political action or disturbance, riot, natural disaster, fire, epidemic, bad weather, terrorist activity (threatened or actual), military activity, governmental or regulatory action, industrial dispute, act of God, failure of power or machinery, failure of or interruption in externally provided services and utilities, and all similar events outside the ‘The Bell''s control.
4.4 Clients will be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury they may cause at ‘The Bell'.
5. Smoking:
For the health, comfort and enjoyment of our guests and staff, smoking is not allowed inside the villas. We kindly ask that all guests smoke outside by the terrace of the villa. A fee of USD200 will be added to your bill if there is any evidence of any kind.
6. Villa Change:
‘The Bell' reserves the right to move guests at any time to another villa should unforeseen circumstances arise.
7. Relocation:
In the unlikely event that ‘The Bell' does not have, for any reason, the required number of villas available as per the booking, ‘The Bell' reserves the right to relocate the client to alternative accommodation of a similar standard. The extra and reasonable accommodation expenses incurred for equivalent accommodation (for the fist night only) shall be borne by ‘The Bell'. A full refund of the initial booking accommodation payment (40%) will be made to the client.
8. Right of Refusal:
‘The Bell' reserves the right to refuse a guest entry and accommodation if, on arrival, management reasonably considers that the guest is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or is behaving in a threatening, abusive or otherwise unacceptable manner.
9. Disturbance:
‘The Bell' reserves the right to require a guest to leave if he/she is causing a disturbance, annoying other guests or ‘The Bell' staff, or is behaving in an unacceptable manner. If in the unlikely event that guests, having being warned, continue to refuse to comply with reasonable requests by management, these guests will be asked to leave ‘The Bell'. Such behaviour will result in no refund being given.
10. Travel Insurance:
We strongly recommend that all clients take out comprehensive travel insurance.
11. Modification:
‘The Bell' may change these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
12. Governing Laws:
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Thailand and any dispute concerning them or their interpretation shall be adjudicated in that jurisdiction.
13. Entire Terms and Conditions:
All Terms and Conditions incorporated or referred to herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and ‘The Bell' relating to the subject matter hereof, and supersedes any prior understandings or agreements (whether oral or written) regarding the subject matter, and may not be amended or modified except in writing or by making such amendments or modifications available on this site.
