What Is the Green Season?
Phuket's green season runs roughly from May to October, when the southwest monsoon brings afternoon rain and lush tropical scenery. Contrary to popular belief, it doesn't rain all day — mornings are typically warm and sunny, with short afternoon showers. The island is quieter, less expensive and arguably more beautiful.
